As some of you may know, my husband and I also have a cooking show, Your Plates or Mine, where we travel around cooking with people from around Tennessee and have even traveled to Florida and Louisiana highlighting some of their local cuisine. We had the great pleasure of cooking with Jason Evans, executive chef, with Evins Mill in Smithville, TN yesterday. If you haven't had the opportunity to enjoy the quiet serenity of the country or the delicious and hearty cuisine they serve up at the Mill, you aren't living life to its potential. Jason's talent in the kitchen is masterfully highlighted with each dish and the entire staff is gracious and just plain fun to be with. New Year's Eve will find us there enjoying the festive feast, saying goodbye to a great year and ringing in a new and prosperous one. We want to wish all our friends and family and our clients(who feel like friends and family) a happy holiday season.
Thanks for a great year!

Ben Lomand
David and I had a great time photographing the Christmas ad for Ben Lomand's Competitive Services. They did a great job turning the Warren County Fair booth into Santa's workshop. All the elves were a great sport and got into their roles of painting toys, answering Santa's hotline, decorating the tree, and where LeeAnn was concerned, just having a great time on the tricycle. Thanks guys, it was really fun.

Tessa & Trent
Here again was a beautiful fall day and my niece Tessa took advantage of it to marry Trent in a backyard ceremony at my sister's house. It was such a sweet ceremony and the weather couldn't have been better. The natural foliage made the best backdrop for the wedding and for the photos afterward. I was very happy to photograph their wedding and the start of their life together. I wish you both the very best.
Congratulations

Kelci & Will
It's really hard to believe that I have a niece old enough to graduate college and to be getting married the next weekend, but I do. And I'm totally excited about it. We are really happy to welcome Will into the family and we're honored they asked us to photograph their wedding next May on the beach! How hard was that decision? We are so there.
For their engagement we wanted a little variety, so earlier this year we photographed them on the beach, but wanted to also shoot on the UNA campus where they met. This past weekend was perfect. That campus is beautiful and if her mom and I can talk her in to it, we may photograph the bridal portrait there in the spring.
Congrats Kelci & Will-we love ya!

Melissa & Thomas
The same day we met up with Amy Beth and Alex, we shot Melissa & Thomas' engagement sitting earlier in the day. These two brides were thinking the same as we met the at Centennial Park and captured all the trees changing their color. We had a great time with these two as they donned on football jerseys and had some fun tackling each other while we grabbed some great shots. We were also able to take them downtown for some shots on Broadway and the pedestrian bridge. This couple weds in June next year and we are really looking forward to their big event.
Emily & Jason
Hooray! No rain and we were able to photograph Emily & Jason at the beautiful Riverwood Mansion where they are saying their vows next June. We can't wait to see this couple marry next year at this great venue.
Amy Beth & Alex
David and I are so excited about this couple. They were so much fun to spend a couple of hours with. We started off at Centennial Park and were very blessed with great weather and the change of leaves couldn't have been better. We then went to the water front and used the great photo opportunities that Nashville has to offer. We are looking forward to this couple's May 1st 2010 wedding.
Christie Hill's Bridal Shoot
David and I have been quite busy since merging our photography sites together. So much to do with changing business cards, logos and postcards. One big advantage is having only one website and one blog. So we are hoping to be able to post more often and show you some of the great work we are doing.
This was a great day of shooting. Christie Holman took time out from her busy schedule to squeeze in a bridal shoot only one week before the wedding. While she had tons to do and I know she was thinking about all the things she had forgot to do, Christie was a pro and we came away with some great images that she was thrilled with. We rushed the editing and the print and she was able to display one of her favorites(it was a difficult choice) at the reception.
Enjoy!
